GIPC Hosts Ghana–Russia Roundtable on Investment Opportunities
The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), in collaboration with Ghana’s Ambassador to the Russian Federation, H.E. Dr. K. S. Jehu-Appiah, convened a Ghana–Russia Investment Roundtable with key stakeholder institutions and partners.
The meeting, chaired by Mr. Augustus Tanoh, Presidential Adviser at the 24H+ Secretariat, provided a platform for constructive dialogue on Ghana’s business climate and the diverse investment opportunities available across priority sectors.
In his presentation, Dr. George Asafo-Agyei, Director of Monitoring, Evaluation and Outreach at GIPC, underscored the Centre’s commitment to facilitating Russian investment in Ghana. He highlighted priority areas for engagement and encouraged investors to work closely with the GIPC to address potential operational challenges.
Complementary presentations on Ghana’s investment landscape were delivered by the 24H+ Secretariat, the Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund (GIIF), and the Ghana Tourism Authority, reflecting the Government of Ghana’s focus on infrastructure development, tourism growth, and strategic investment partnerships.
The Roundtable was honoured by the participation of H.E. Mr. Sergei Berdnikov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Ghana; Mrs. Maame Efua Houadjeto, Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority; and Ms. Michelle Atta-Mills, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund.
The Government of Ghana reaffirms its commitment to deepening economic cooperation with the Russian Federation and welcomes continued collaboration in advancing mutually beneficial investment initiatives.
