Ghana Showcases Investment Drive at NASDAQ Business Dialogue
The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), led by Chief Executive Officer Simon Madjie, on September 24 co-hosted the U.S.-Ghana Executive Business Dialogue at the NASDAQ Headquarters in New York.
The high-level engagement, held on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), was organized in collaboration with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, AmCham Ghana, and the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA). It brought together senior officials, business leaders, and investors to deepen economic cooperation between Ghana and the United States.
President John Dramani Mahama delivered the keynote address, reaffirming Ghana’s strong ties with the U.S. and outlining government’s commitment to fostering an enabling environment for trade and investment. He highlighted flagship initiatives such as the 24-Hour Economy and the Accelerated Export Development Programme, which are designed to enhance productivity and strengthen Ghana’s export competitiveness.
The event concluded with a celebratory NASDAQ Display at Times Square, marking the significance of President Mahama’s visit and underscoring Ghana’s growing profile as a destination for global investment.
