The Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) has supported more than 30 Ghanaian exporters at the 3FM Afroconnect event, creating opportunities for them to explore new markets and strengthen their export readiness.

The exhibition was officially opened by Hon. James Gyakye Quayson, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, who commended the initiative for providing a platform to advance Africa’s export agenda.

A key highlight of the event was a roundtable discussion under the theme “Business Without Borders: A Practical Guide to Doing Business Across Africa.” Speaking at the session, GEPA’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Marketing and Public Relations, Mr. Raymond Rashid Kramer, outlined how the GEPA Export School is helping businesses navigate international trade regulations, certification processes, and market intelligence platforms such as the International Trade Centre (ITC) portal.

Mr. Kramer further emphasized the importance of trade shows, business matchmaking programmes, AfCFTA-driven opportunities, and the role of embassies and trade attachés in connecting Ghanaian products and services to global markets.

The discussion concluded with a strong message: Ghanaian exporters can compete successfully on the international stage if equipped with the right knowledge, certifications, and networks. GEPA reaffirmed its commitment to providing the tools and support necessary to make this ambition a reality.
