Busy Body is an Accra-based fashion house, founded in 2020 — influenced by Africa and its diaspora and rooted in circularity. A Busy Body is anyone putting in work towards making a positive impact.

In Ghana, we pride ourselves on our resourcefulness and our ability to make the best out of the worst circumstances.

As a result of fast fashion trends in the West Africa, Ghana has become a dumping ground for second-hand clothing. Ghana imports 15 million items of clothing each week. Around 40% of this cannot be sold and ends up being burnt or dumped — most of it ending up in the sea.

They combat this by giving these clothes a new life through tie dye.
